This project began as my Master’s thesis in Digital Media, where I developed Cuerpa Mostra as a DIY prosthetic monster / AI film, and now brought it to life and to real surrondings through AI. What started as handcrafted body fragments made from precarious materials evolved into a real moving monstra, first generated and animated through Stable Diffusion 1.5, AnimateDiff, custom LoRA training, and now Seedance, so the work could inhabit different urban and fictional scenarios. Alongside this technical evolution, two philosophy professors researchers from the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Mónica González Obeid (UNT) and María Gallo Ugarte (UNT-CONICET) are right now writing a philosophical essay titled “Antropofagia digital: la Mostra que invadió la ciudad,” which reflects on how the project uses monster-making to resist algorithmic bodies and the polished, standardized images produced by generative AI.
